About me
I am a highly curious person with substantial experience in research, teaching, and organisation. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology, working with Professor Arne Traulsen.
I am an alumna of the University of Birmingham (BSc Mathematics with Business Management; PhD Applied Mathematics) and the University of St Andrews (MSc Mathematics). During my PhD, my research focused on cost-effective institutional incentives for promoting cooperation in finite populations. My work lies within Game Theory, with a particular interest in Evolutionary Game Theory - specifically, the use of EGT to model cooperative behaviours, as well as the mathematics of morality and the evolution of language.
Outside of academia, I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction (including the occasional maths book), developing my general knowledge, and learning languages. I also enjoy swimming, pilates, and tennis.
